OUR
BACKGROUND

Environs Conservation Services–Uganda (ECOSEV-U) is a non-profit organization registered in Uganda (Registration number 188485) and is dedicated to conservation of the environment. According to Uganda’s national state of environment reports, the country continues to experience serious environmental problems including soil degradation, deforestation, loss of biodiversity, air and water pollution and wetland degradation. Climate change has also become a major environmental issue as evidenced by the increase in frequency and intensity of weather extremes including unusually high temperatures, prolonged droughts, erratic rainfall and tropical storms. Worldwide, there are many more and diverse environmental issues. Consequently, ECOSEV-U collaborates with and complements efforts of other stakeholders in promoting environmental conservation.
